CRS Granite counters are made from real granite slabs cut ⅜ inch thick, reinforced with a woven fibreglass backing, which allows us to build a cap that fits over your existing countertop, at considerable savings. Our success is built on educating the public as to the benefits of our exclusive patented over-lay process and how it is changing the way granite is being perceived. We have eliminated the problem of full thickness granite countertops staining, scratching, fading, cracking, and or damage caused to floors or cabinets, over time, due to the excessive weight of thicker granite. |
Features:
» Heat resistant: Able to withstand temperatures up to 3000 degrees.
» Scratch resistant: Granite on average measures 7 on the Mohs hardness scale, compared to knives and metals within the kitchen that are softer measuring around 5.3 Mohs.
» Light weight: No need to re-enforce cabinetry as our counters weigh only 4 lb per square foot. compared to thicker granite weighing up to 22 lbs or more.
» Stain resistant: Granite does not stain like other solid surfaces.
» Durability: Will not fade under direct sunlight, or warp under long durations of heat exposure, allowing countertops to be installed outdoors as well.
» Strength: Countertops are 10 times stronger than ¾ inch (2 cm) granite typically used for vanities and vertical applications, and 7 times stronger than 1¼ inch (3 cm) commonly used for kitchen and commercial counters. » Easy to maintain: Clean with soap and water. Granite will not promote bacteria growth, because of the density of the granite, and it is considered to be equal to stainless steel counters.
